Information Collection & Sharing
Woolvey LLC is the sole owner of the information collected at www.woolvey.com. We do not share the information with any partners or other third parties, other than for the specific purposes of authorizing payment information and shipping items.
We aggregate any data collected into a form that is no longer identifiable back to an individual, but provides useful statistical demographic information. We currently do not share any aggregate information with partners or other third parties but we retain the right to share this information in the future without additional notice to the user.
Information Collected From You
In order to purchase items on this website, a user may create an account, although they may also check out as a guest. During the process of creating an account, a user is required to give contact information (such as name, email address and street address). We use this information purely for identity and contact purposes associated with their actions and requests on our website.
We request additional information from the user at the point of checkout. A customer must confirm or provide a shipping address and confirm the payment method and details (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user. We do not retain full credit card numbers once a transaction is successfully processed, although we do retain the last 4 digits for identification purposes.
We also offer secure checkout options through payment partners, PayPal and Google. These express checkout methods allow you to purchase from Woolvey LLC without the creation of a woolvey.com account and without sharing your payment details with Woolvey LLC. In these cases, your financial information is known only to the payment partner.
Automatic Data Tracking
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use cookies only if your browser settings allow them. If you allow cookies, you may experience faster browsing and longer retention of relevant information when visiting this website. If your browser does not allow cookies, any session information (including shopping cart contents) will be carried in secure session variables only for the duration of each visit. Check your browser documentation for more information about cookies and how to manage them.
Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files. This includes the recording of internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Communications from the Website
We send all new customers a welcoming email when they create an account. We also send out communications that are directly related to activity on the website, including purchase invoices and relevant responses to questions or requests received via the website. At this time we do not send any additional email communication, although we may send out email news in the future to those who opt in to receive them.
