This David Winter cottage is intended to represent the many isolated homes that were built across Britain far from villages and towns; places were the owners could keep to themselves and be self-sufficient.
This cottage was the 10th of the Collector’s Guild pieces and was introduced in 1991 and retired in 1992. It stands just over 6” tall and comes in the original box with its certificate of authenticity.
There is unfortunately one minor flaw with this cottage. One of the lower roof tiles has been chipped off. This is shown in the picture.
