This is a musical figurine from Precious Moments depicting a young boy peeking inside a large box that clearly states “Do not open till Christmas”. He is using his dog as a stepping stool to peer inside.

This figurine was first issued in 1992 and suspended from production in 1994. It plays the tune “Toyland” and is stamped with the 1992 G Clef production mark.

Unfortunately this figurine has been repaired. The slingshot hanging from the boy’s back pant pocket has had one of its prongs broken off and reattached. This is hard to see, even when you know about it, but this is the reason for the discounted pricing.
