Bob is one of the Goebel range of Co-Boy figurines. He is a bookworm, sitting on a large book and making notes in another. His raised finger indicates he has reached a point of interest.

The base of this figurine is incised with the year 1970 and the model number, and is stamped with the Goebel TMK4 (three line bee) trademark. Small felt pads have been attached to the edges of the base to protect any surfaces it is placed upon. These can be easily removed without damage to the figurine, if required.

There appears to be a hairline crack in the writing feather, close to where it meets the hand. This is hard to detect but can just be seen in the close-up picture.
