As its name suggests, this Hummel figurine depicts a boy playing the accordion. It is one of several Hummel figurines that form the Hummel orchestra. It was modeled in 1947 by Reinhold Unger and originally named “On the Alpine Pasture”. It was retired from production in 1994. This particular figurine is 5.25” tall, bears the TMK3 (stylized bee) backstamp and shows evidence of fine crazing across the face and legs.
